I've lived and worked around the country and the world. Because the city has the same aspirational quality that attracts me to individual people. I'm very close to my family, even though we are spread out across the country. I do spend quite a bit of time at events and performances. Exercise sometime. I find an open, optimistic mind to be a really attractive quality. I enjoy learning and doing new things more than settling into routine. I've been tested and challenged in ways that have given me a good sense of who I am; I say that with humility, because coming up against the limits of your own humanity, it turns out, is not so easy. Some things I like: green tea, Thanksgiving, libraries, whole-grain pancakes, great hotels, dark chocolate, cake (wait, I seem to have gotten off on a dessert tangent). I am spontaneous but not impulsive. A few adjectives that describe someone I'd find attractive: unpretentious, bright, friendly, curious, caring.

Some values that I think are important are kindness, humor, warmth, curiosity, generosity. It might also help if you enjoy getting silly and easy to live with.
