Before I say anything about my traits let me say this. I will be, and I've known this as long as I can remember, a wonderful husband and a father, if the Lord wills it of course. I have a big heart and a great sense of humor. Just ask the kids in my Sunday School class. I can get a little to serious at times, especially when I'm working, but I love to laugh and have a good time. We have a pretty good sense of humor in our family, so it's always a joy for me to be around them. I always loved making my grandmother laugh. She had a great laugh. I'm a thinker that thinks to much sometimes. I used to have a problem with being to competitive but as I get older I find that it takes to much energy to be competitive about something that is just suppose to be fun. I still hate to lose, especially when I'm golfing.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember so I tend to observe things in life from that perspective. I usually express myself better with words, but I'm capable of having good conversation. I love communication. Face to face, in the right setting and without interruption is about as good as it can get. How about a long dinner date, with dessert and coffee, just getting to know each other or how about a long, slow, trail ride on a horse.
I love the Lord will all my heart, mind and soul. I only wish on a daily basis my life could reflect that statement. I am so thankful that God loves me and that He is a gracious, (I LOVE that word)and forgiving God. My life long PASSION is to know God's Word better and to get on my knees daily and ask Him to do His will in My life. I take God's Word very serious. My goal is to always challenge people to use the Bible as the back-bone to what they believe. To many Christians today rely on their experiences rather than what God is saying in His Word. Other goals would be to strengthen my faith and to fear God more. I have quite a few favorite Bible verses. I love the whole book of James, Matthew 6:33, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Psalms 119:10-11, 1 Peter 4:7-10, Philippians 4:12-13, 3:12-14, 1 John 2:5-6, 3:22, 4:9, Isaiah 40:29-31, Proverbs 3:5-7 (My favorite), and Psalm 27:1, 7-8.
